Anchor #1: Madison Davenport has accomplished more than some actors four times her age. Now this rising young star is in the highly anticipated movie Kit Kittredge: An American girl and we're very happy to have Madison here with us! Good morning welcome!

Madison: Hi how are you doing?

Anchor #1: I'm good. Right off the plane I have to say, you are a superstar. I know you just got off the plane about an hour ago.

Madison: Thank you! Oh you know, I'm tired but.. no coffee but tea.

Anchor #1: Oh you're too young to drink coffee right now ha?

Madison: Yeah definantly.

Anchor #1: When are you allowed to drink coffee, what do your parents say?

Madison: I don't know I don't like coffee. *laughs*

Anchor #1: So you don't like the taste of it anyway so you're fine. So what made you decide to become an actress in the first place?

Madison: Well, I basically... I've always been the dramaqueen and used to make my parents sit there and watch my little plays that made no sense whatsoever. I'd be like this.

Anchor #1: So you were always preforming but they actually were a very ... audience.

Madison: Definantly.

Anchor #1: So now to do this, you play Ruthie who is Kit's best friend and Kit is played by Abigail Breslin, what was it like you know to work with her because I can imagine a lot of young ladies look up to her.

Madison: She's really sweet, she's so nice and she's a great actress too.

Anchor #1: She really is. So what's the best piece of advice she gave you? Did she give you advice on this business?

Madison: No we just.. we just kinda like helped eachother during the scene and it never... we kind of had fun on set and we were always like just joking around and having a lot of fun.

Anchor #1: Now did you guys play with the American Girl dolls while you were on set aswell?

Madison: Actually, they gave us Kit dolls at the end of filming. And so we all got the American girl dolls and we had everybody sign the box.

Anchor #1: Wow that's great. So tell us about... you have your very own doll which is pretty cool, not many people can say that.

Madison: I know!

Anchor #1: So let's show it to us. I guess she looks like you a little bit except she's not blond.

Madison: Well actually my hair is faded, it used to be this color.

Anchor #1: It did. So what was it like... I mean did they kind of model it off of you specifically?

Madison: Actually, the lady from the American Girl doll store in Chicago, she came and she took a picture of my curls and of my face and I was like.. I was so honoured because I didn't know they were going to make the American Girl doll out of my character. And so.. it was just an honour to have an American Girl doll based on my character.

Anchor #1: It's pretty amazing. So what's it like are you starting... I know the movie is about to come out but I can imagine that a lot of young man and women already compleetly aware of the movie and are already starstruck by you. Are you experiencing that?

Madison: Actually, this morning I got out of the car and people were asking me for my autograph and that's never happened before.

Anchor #1: And this is the first time?

Madison: It is. Well it's the first time I've like gotten out of the car and people were like 'I want your autograph!'.

Anchor #1: And I also understand that you can show us a little sample of your lovely singing voice.

Madison: Yes! So uhm, my favorite song is Somewhere Over The Rainbow and I'll start somewhere in the middle.

Anchor #1: Wow, you're amazing. Simon Cowell would give you a standing ovantion for that. You're amazing and thank you so much for getting in, I hope you have time to take a nap. I know how tired you must feel!Okay you can see her In Kit Kittredge: An American girl in theatres nation wide July 2 and she'll be at the American Girl store on 5th Avenue from 1 to 3 and I know that a lot of people are going to head over there to meet you, it's great! Wow!

Anchor #2: You're tearing my eye! I mean we were all feeling that.

Anchor #3: Do you know how hard that is at 8:16 in the morning? No warming up

Anchor #2: Well she's just, beautiful. We wish you the best!
