Madison DavenportAt a mere ten years of age the talented and gifted Madison Davenport already has a body of work that could rival any adult actor, who has been in the business at least a decade!

Young Madison recently booked a lead role in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery for Picturehouse/HBO’s venture with New Line Cinema. In the film, Madison will play Kit’s best friend ‘Ruthie Smithens.’ The film stars Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) in the title role, Joan Cusack, Chris O’Donnell, Julia Ormond and Wallace Shawn. The film is produced by Elaine Goldsmith Thomas and Julia Roberts and will be directed by Patricia Rozema. The film has begun shooting in Toronto.

Also in 2007, young Madison will have four projects out on the small and big screens so far this year. Her motion picture roles are as follows: a lead role opposite Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under) in the film Humboldt County a true life story of a counterculture community in Northern California’s redwood forest. Second she has a supporting role in Parasomnia with Crispin Glover. In addition, Madison can be heard has the lead voice of Sophiana in the animated featured Christmas is Here Again. The movie also stars the voices of Ed Asner, Andy Griffith, Kathy Bates, Brad Garrett, Jay Leno, and Shirley Jones. Finally, Madison recently wrapped a lead role in the made for television movie entitled The Sitter, opposite Gail O’Grady (American Dreams/NYPD Blue). The story centers on a chaotic family life, which is nearly destroyed when a troubled 25 year old live-in sitter is hired to take care of the household. The M.O.W. will premier July 1st, 2007.

Madison DavenportWhen Madison was five her amazing singing skills and love for the theater prompted the family’s move from San Antonio, Texas to Hollywood where it did not take long for industry professionals to recognize this amazing young talent. Shortly after arriving, Madison landed the title role in an indie short film. In the past year, Madison’s dramatic skills were showcased on hit TV shows like, FOX’s “Bones,” CBS’ “Numb3rs,” CSI: NY,” and “Close to Home” to name a few. However, her list of accomplishments does not end there, which was evident when she guest starred on ABC’s comedy, “Hot Properties” and twice shot nationally aired commercials for Kodak. In addition, Madison has quite an impressive voiceover resume. She has lent her voice to Sprint, Zooos, Brita, Elizabethtown, Little Miss Sunshine, Conversations with Other Women, and the Dreamworks animated feature film, Over the Hedge.

Aside from acting and just being a kid, this imaginative young lady is also developing a book called Sunshine Star©, which is a children’s series of books created and inspired by Madison’s life experiences up to now. Its purpose is to teach values, colors and shapes in an unprecedented way. Young Madison has pitched her idea to several book publishers, all of whom are interested in being in business, with this future young mogul.

Madison currently lives in Los Angeles with her family.
